• 12 km: Passo del Vrads

  In Vrads south of Silkeborg is a real nasty climb.

  5.2% average gradient over 1300 meters.

  The climb comes right at the beginning of the route, so you probably still have fresh legs.

• 24 km: Col du Funder

  Climb 4%

  The second climb on the road to Viborg.

  Just before the feed station in Funder at Silkeborg the climb rises over 1800 meters with an average gradient of 4%.

• 26 km: Funder

  Feed station 1

  There is reason to smile.

  Some say, the feed station in Funder serves Denmark's best "droemmekage" cake. This adds to the positive atmosphere in this feed station. As does the extra calories.

  In Funder Kirkeby you pass Funder Church, one of the old churches.

• 48 km: Vattrupgaard

  Feed station 2

  You are closing in on the finish, but the climbs in Dollerup awaits.

  It would be stupid to bonk completely before Viborg, so remember to enjoy the delicious feed station at Vattrupgaard.

• 61 km: Alpe d'Dollerup

  Climb 3.8%

  The last serious challenge is Dollerup Bakker south of Viborg.

  Although by now you are probably starting to run low on energy, this climb rises up over 1,300 meters at 3.8% on average.

  The landscape is dramatic - created by Arctic ice and meltwater during the last ice age.

• 75 km: Finish in Viborg

  The adventure ends for all road, mountain bike and gravel riders on the Parade Square in Viborg.
